Instructions
1. Season the Meat: Generously season the chuck roast on all sides with salt and black pepper.
2. Into the Pot: Place the seasoned roast in the bottom of your crockpot.
3. Whisk the “Triple Threat” Sauce: In a small bowl, combine Italian seasoning, Ranch seasoning, and Brown Gravy mix. Add 1 cup water and whisk until fully dissolved and smooth.
4. Pour Over Roast: Pour the gravy mixture evenly over the roast, making sure it’s well-covered.
5. Slow Cook: Cook on High for 4 hours. (Optional: For even more tender, “melt-in-your-mouth” meat, cook on Low for 8 hours.)
6. Baste and Serve: Occasionally open the lid and spoon juices from the bottom of the pot over the roast. When the beef shreds easily with a fork, it’s ready to serve.
