1) Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340g) fettuccine or linguine

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup dry white wine (optional but recommended)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan

  • Salt & black pepper

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Fresh parsley (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.

  2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.

  3. In a large pan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side. Remove.

  4. In the same pan, sauté garlic 30 seconds.

  5. Add wine; simmer 2–3 minutes.

  6. Stir in cream and simmer until slightly thickened.

  7. Add Parmesan and lemon juice.

  8. Return shrimp to pan. Toss with pasta. Add reserved pasta water if needed.

  9. Garnish with parsley and serve.

2) Classic Margherita Pizza

Ingredients

Dough (or use store-bought):

  • 2½ cups flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 packet yeast

  • ¾ cup warm water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Toppings:

  • ½ cup tomato sauce (crushed San Marzano if possible)

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • Olive oil, salt

Instructions

  1. Mix dough ingredients; knead 8–10 minutes. Let rise 1 hour.

  2. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone if available.

  3. Roll dough thin.

  4. Spread tomato sauce lightly.

  5. Add sliced mozzarella.

  6. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden.

  7. Top with basil and drizzle olive oil.


3) Perfectly Seared Steak with Herb Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye or strip steaks (1–1½ inches thick)

  • Salt & cracked pepper

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • Fresh thyme or rosemary

Herb Butter

  • 4 tbsp softened butter

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Bring steak to room temp (30 minutes).

  2. Season generously.

  3. Heat pan until very hot. Add oil.

  4. Sear 3–4 minutes per side.

  5. Add butter, garlic, herbs. Baste 1 minute.

  6. Rest 5–10 minutes.

  7. Top with herb butter before serving.

4) Homemade Sushi Rolls (California Roll Style)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice

  • 2½ cups water

  • ¼ cup rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • Nori sheets

  • Imitation crab or fresh fish

  • Avocado

  • Cucumber

  • Soy sauce, pickled ginger

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice. Cook with water.

  2. Mix vinegar, sugar, salt. Fold into warm rice.

  3. Place nori on bamboo mat.

  4. Spread thin layer of rice.

  5. Add fillings.

  6. Roll tightly and slice with sharp wet knife.

5) Chicken Parmesan with Fresh Marinara

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (halved thin)

  • 1 cup flour

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella

  • ½ cup Parmesan

  • Oil for frying

Marinara:

  • 2 cups crushed tomatoes

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Fresh basil

  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Make marinara: sauté garlic, add tomatoes, simmer 15 mins.

  2. Bread chicken (flour → egg → breadcrumbs).

  3. Fry until golden.

  4. Place in baking dish, top with sauce & cheese.

  5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes.
