✔ ⅔ teaspoon salt
✔ ½ teaspoon thyme
✔ ½ teaspoon basil
✔ ⅓ teaspoon oregano
✔ 1 teaspoon celery salt
✔ 1 teaspoon black pepper
✔ 1 teaspoon dried mustard
✔ 4 teaspoons paprika
✔ 2 teaspoons garlic salt
✔ 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Ingredients for KFC-Style Fried Chicken
✔ 1 whole chicken, cut into 8–10 pieces (or use drumsticks, thighs, and breasts)
✔ 2 cups all-purpose flour (for the crispy coating!)

✔ 1 teaspoon baking powder (adds crispiness!)
✔ 1 cup buttermilk (for extra tenderness!)
✔ 2 eggs, beaten

Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Marinate the Chicken for Ultimate Flavor
- Place chicken pieces in a bowl and cover with buttermilk.
- Let it marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for the best flavor & tenderness!).
2️⃣ Prepare the Coating
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and 1 tablespoon of the “11 Herbs & Spices” blend.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and water.
3️⃣ Coat the Chicken (Double Dipping for Extra Crunch! 🍗)
- Remove chicken from the buttermilk and let excess drip off.
- Dip the chicken into the flour mixture, coating evenly.
- Dip it into the egg mixture, making sure it’s fully covered.
- Dip it back into the flour mixture, pressing firmly to create a thick, crispy crust.
4️⃣ Fry Until Golden & Crispy
- Heat about 3 inches of oil in a deep fryer or large pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
- Cook for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
